Our Chat to Apply feature revolutionizes communication between candidates and recruiters with a wide range of meticulously designed “Template” options. These pre-written templates can be easily customized, saving candidates valuable time while ensuring their messages are concise, professional, and impactful. This streamlined approach enhances communication, leading to better interactions with potential employers.
In the first entry point of the template, you will see three pre-written template messages with three different conditions that Glints has provided:
- Considering the offer from the recruiters.
- Rejecting to proceed with the recruitment process.
- Interested to apply for the job by sending a CV.
Further, you have the authority to either edit the pre-written template messages or add a new one. Please note that if you want to add a new template message, the limit is 200 characters. Do not forget to click “Save”.
If you decide to edit the pre-written template message, you can simply click on Template -> Edit. You also are able to delete the template messages which you no longer need.
The Chat to Apply feature has two template sections: Template message and Intro message.
Default templates are provided by Glints as a convenient starting point, but candidates can personalize their own templates based on their preferences. It helps them to maintain the conversation with the hiring managers. It’s important to note that each template has a character limit of 200 characters to maintain brevity and clarity.
In the “Intro message” section, you are able to customize their templates to initiate the conversation with the recruiters. You also have the ability to choose lots of different Intro message templates that Glints provided.
When clicking “choose another intro template”, you will be presented with a wide range of templates, each with its own unique tone. It allows you to personalize your intro message according to the specific job you have applied for.
Once you choose the intro message templates, you are still able to edit them based on your preferences. You can click “Save”, and the intro message template will automatically be sent every time you initiate a new chat.
To sum up, the “Intro message” section is ideal for you initiating conversations with hiring managers, while the “Template message” section is invaluable for ongoing discussions about the recruitment process. This clear distinction ensures seamless and purpose-driven communication throughout the candidate’s interaction with potential employers.
