We remind you to always be careful when applying for jobs. Glints never charges anything in the recruitment process. If you find anything suspicious about the job you are applying for, please refer to the following article.
The company that offers job vacancies conducts the entire recruitment process at Glints. Glints act as a platform for these companies to post job openings and for applicants to apply. As a result, the duration of each stage in the process may vary. The recruitment process through Glints follows the following steps:
Chat Initiated
In the 'Chat Initiated' status, it means that your application is currently being evaluated and assessed by the employer or hiring team.
If you are invited by employers to initiate a chat and you haven't responded to the chat yet, then the chat will be displayed in this status. Here, you can initiate a conversation through chat and communicate with the hiring manager via text about a job.
Skill Test
During this status, the hiring manager will internally assess the candidates or conduct job-specific tests as part of the evaluation process.
Interview
Once the hiring manager expresses interest or you pass the skill test, they will reach out to you again and proceed with the "Interview" status.
Offered Received
After following the "Interview" process, the hiring manager will decide whether you are accepted or not. If suitable, they will change the status to “Offered Received” and send you the offer by email or chat.
Hired
After the entire process is carried out and you receive an offering letter from the company, the application status will change to "Hired."
Rejected
If you do not meet the criteria, the hiring manager has the option to send an email notification or chat to give the information that you do not meet the qualifications. The application status will change to "Rejected."
What if I still did not get any information/updates from the hiring manager?
We understand that waiting for a response regarding your job application can be frustrating. However, the recruitment process involves several stages that need to be completed. Here are some factors you would need to consider:
- Most employers process job applications during regular working hours. This means that applications received outside of these hours may not be reviewed immediately.
- Application verification: Each candidate’s application goes through a verification process, which typically takes 14 working days. The company will strive to give each application the attention it deserves to ensure a fair evaluation.
- Profile details: It’s important for you to note providing sufficient and accurate information in your Glints profile or CV. Incomplete or vague profiles can make it difficult for employers to process your applications effectively. Click here to learn more about how you create your profile description.
Given these circumstances, we encourage candidates to keep their information up to date and periodically check for any updates. You can also directly make a conversation through chat.
If you have experienced the aforementioned conditions and still haven’t received any communication from the employer, please feel free to email us at hi@glints.com or WhatsApp with the Subject “I want to Follow Up Employers”. You also can contact us by shaking your device and report through Instabug. Our dedicated team will be happy to assist you further and provide an update on your application status.
