We introduce new system where your job listings will be automatically labeled as "Regular Job" and "Competitive Job" based on the job fields and location you have chosen. This change will help you to get smoother experience on utilizing our platform exclusively, and will support you on receiving relevant candidates to your active job listings.
What does "Regular Job" mean?
A 'Regular Job' is a type of job listing that meets our current system's quality standards. A job will be classified as a 'Regular Job' if it meets specific criteria based on the job field and location. You can check whether your job posting is classified as a 'Regular Job' or not on the right side of the page when creating your job listing.
What does "Competitive Job" mean?
The definition of the 'Competitive Job' is not so different with 'Regular Job'. One thing you need to pay attention is when your job is classified as a 'Competitive Job', then you should be the part of 'Glints VIP'. After that, you can continue to post your job listing based on your needs.
How do I purchase Glints VIP so that a job that is indicated as a 'Competitive Job' can still be posted?
If your job listing is classified as 'Competitive Job', then you can simply purchase Glints VIP. You can click "Upgrade for Post" and complete the payment.
Once you have become a part of Glints VIP, you can enjoy lots of other special features that Glints provides to make it easier for you to get applicants who match your criteria. Learn about Glints VIP here.
What about active job listings that were classified as 'Competitive Job' before this new rules?
If you have previously had an active job listing and it turns out that it is classified as 'Competitive Job' but you are not part of Glints VIP, then don't worry. The job listing will not change, and can still be posted as before. However, in the future you will be required to be part of Glints VIP if you want to extend the job. Learn about Glints VIP here.
Does this classification rule affect the number of slots for my job listings?
Please note that this change will not affect the number of job listing slots you have, as they only relate to the Subscription Plan that you are currently using. Learn about the Glints Subscription Plan here.
Does this rule apply if I post a job on the Employer app?
Yes, all of these rules or classification changes apply if you use a web browser or the employer app to post a job.
