When you go to the “Chats” menu, you will see the candidates’ job status application through different sections:
Tab in Manage Candidates
Glints Chat
Here, you will be able to process each candidate who meets the requirements of your job listings. If you use Glints through the website as well, then you will find some differences regarding the status of the Glints Chat both in the application and website versions. For a deeper understanding of status labeling in the Glints for Employer app, you can refer to the definitions below:
Chat Initiated
All the information of candidates after they answer the 'Hiring Manager Questions' to apply for your job will be displayed here. At this stage, candidates will usually give a message in the form of a brief introduction regarding their interest in applying for your job listing. We strongly recommend that you can start a conversation with the candidate if they are qualified based on their answers in the 'Hiring Manager Questions'.
In addition, if you decide to start a chat with a candidate through Recommended Talent and CV Finder, then the conversation will automatically move temporarily at this stage.
In Communication
When you reply to a conversation with a candidate in the "Chat Initiated" stage or the candidate responds to your chat via Recommended Talent and CV Finder, the status will automatically change to "In Communication". You can also change it manually. Please continue your conversation so that the recruitment process runs smoothly.
Interview
If you have had a conversation with a candidate and feel that the candidate is worthy of proceeding to the next stage of the recruitment process, then you can change their status to "Interview". At this stage, you can customize how you will conduct the interview, such as requesting or receiving a candidate's CV, and then exchange phone numbers to make an interview call outside of Glints Chat.
Hired
At this stage, you can finally find candidates who match the job you created after going through all the recruitment processes. Please change the candidate's status to "Hired", so that both the candidate and other members of your company's account know about it and will be officially hired.
Unsuitable/Reject
Whether you decide to reject the candidate recruitment process for the job listing, please use the "Unsuitable" status. In addition, we are implementing a new system reject candidates when applying on your job listing. With this system, you can not only move the status to "Unsuitable", but you can customize the rejection message on the candidate's application according to your needs. You can simply click "Reject" at the bottom of your page, then select the rejection message that matches the criteria of the candidate you want to reject. After that, click "Submit".
