Currently, Glints has implemented a new system for you, making it easier to process candidates who apply for your active job posts, especially when you want to reject the candidates during the recruitment process. Please note that this new rejection flow is currently only available on the website version. Stay tuned for updates from us regarding the future version of the Glints App!
You can now choose various methods for rejection messages to be given to candidates when you reject or change their application status to "Not Suitable". You can do this in the following two ways:
Through 'Manage Candidates'
- Login through https://employers.glints.id/.
- In your Dashboard, you select the active jobs, then click "Manage Candidates".
- Please review the applications submitted to your active job listings. You can select the application status in the three-dot menu as shown below. (Learn more about changing candidate application status here).
- If you want to change the application status to "Not Suitable" or Reject, please go to section X. Here, you can select the reason for rejection. You can click "Edit".

Here, you can select one rejection method that you can customize based on your needs.

- Don't forget to click "Save".
- Select the candidates you want to reject by clicking "X".
- The rejection messages based on the method you've chosen will be delivered to the candidates in Glints Chat.
Through Glints Chat
- After login, click "Chat".
- Select the active job listings that you want to proceed, and then select the candidates as well. If you want to proceed the candidates, then choose any job status except Reject. (Learn more about changing candidate application status here).

If you want to reject and change the status to "Not Suitable", simply click "Reject". If you have never selected a method for the rejection reason before, you will be directed to the "default" options like this. You can click "Edit" and then customize it according to your preferences.
- If you have saved the rejection method, then reject the candidates by clicking "Reject".
- The rejection messages based on the method you've chosen will be sent to the candidates.
I want to change the rejection method
Please note that once you have selected a rejection method, it will be used as the 'default' method for future candidate rejections in the recruitment process.
If you want to change this rejection method, you can do so by following these steps:
- Login at https://employers.glints.id/.
- Choose "Account Settings".
- In the "Rejection Method" tab, you can click "Change".
- Choose the rejection method based on your preferences. Don't forget to click "Save".
- Your rejection method has been successfully updated.
