Currently, Glints has implemented a system for applying via the Glints app using the Chat to Apply feature, where candidates can apply for the job postings you have created and then be redirected to the Glints Chat page to start a direct conversation with you. In the previous system, when you and a candidate communicated via Glints Chat, the interface would appear as follows.
However, in certain situations, your chat with a candidate may no longer be visible, even if you have previously communicated with them. This can happen because we have implemented a chat restriction system, where if no conversation occurs for more than 30 days since the last chat, the chat will be hidden.
Additionally, you will receive a notification in the Manage Candidates page stating that you can only view applications received within the last 3 months for the referred job posting. This means that applications older than 3 months will no longer be accessible to you.
This policy is in place to ensure that chat conversations remain relevant and up-to-date. In general, recruitment processes rarely extend beyond 30 days within a single conversation, so this rule encourages both you and the candidate to proactively follow up on job postings.
With this system, you and the candidate can restart the conversation if the job posting is still active, without having to rely on older, potentially irrelevant conversations.
