New Chat Notification in the Chat to Apply on the Glints App

In what way do I know the hiring manager has read my chat?

When a message is viewed by the hiring managers, you will see an eye emoticon indicating that the message has been seen or read.

Is it possible to receive notifications for new chat messages?

Absolutely! You will  receive notifications for new chat messages through two different methods: 

• Push notifications

You will receive a notification on your screen whenever a new chat message arrives, ensuring you never miss an important conversation. Please ensure you have enabled push notifications for the Glints app in your phone settings.

• In-app notifications

It will be displayed within the chat interface itself, making it easy for you to stay updated on any incoming messages without navigating away from the chat window. 

Both notification options are designed to provide you with a seamless and efficient chat experience. 

I want to view chats that haven't been read for more than 30 days

Please note that option to see or read the chat/message for more than 30 days is unavailable. This happened due to the Glints system latest update, ensuring you that the chat conversations remain relevant and up-to-date. Learn more about this 30 days chat limitation rules here.

I applied through the Glints website, but got a notification in the email that the recruiter sent a chat to me

We would like to inform you that Chat to Apply is currently not available on the Glints website. Therefore, it is recommended that you download the Glints application first to reply to new chats from recruiters. Learn more here.
